Draft Profile & Scouting Report

Ideal size to be a bruiser and handle a high volume of carries at 6’ 2”, 228 lbs
Potential 3-down RB; profiles as an excellent early down running back with upside as a receiver and pass protector
An elite between the tackles runner with above-average patience
Very creative runner that uses his blocks very well; routinely gets into the 2nd level
Extremely tough and physical downhill runner that uses excellent pad level; often pushes the pile 5+ yards, legs just never stop
PLUS tackle breaking ability and notably had 53 missed tackles forced on 270 attempts
Good moves in the 2nd level including a good jump cut, spin, juke and hurdle
Very good hands that look natural; no drops on 20 targets in 2021
Excellent ball security with no career fumbles on 452 carries
Above average to good in pass protection and at times will knock DEs off their feet with chip blocks
Solid draft capital at 4; 131 to the Titans
Sneaky upside landing spot as the likely RB2 in TEN; ? if the Titans are rebuilding and will work their way out of Henry’s contract next year
Does not get away from contact as much as you would like and at times needs to bounce it out and find that cut back lane to get outside
Top-end film speed is lacking as there was only 1 long run in 2021 and no home run plays, did not run at his Pro day or the combine due to an ankle injury but expect he would run at least 4.55
Although he has some moves in the 2nd level often fails to get past due to lack of burst
Would prefer to see more production as a receiver as he only had 18 catches in 2021
Only 1 year of really solid production
High ankle sprain caused him to miss a portion of the bowl game in 2021 and limited his combine
